Folks,
There's a compressor ("Sioux II") for £99.00 inc VAT here:-
http://www.wolf-online.co.uk/Apologies that I can't get a more precise link!
I've no idea about compressors, but have a few jobs that could use one,
including some small-scale panel spraying.
Can anyone who has a similar compressor comment?

Hi. RQ.
I appreciate space and funds are always factors, but get as big and powerful a unit as you can afford and store. These small compressors are OK for the odd small job --- a bit of light spraying, tyre inflation. After that, you will find they don't have the grunt to run the more useful automotive tools, take forever to build up pressure and if you make any continuous demand on them wind up shutting down for a rest due to the thermal trip. It really does transform some of the mundane jobs on the car if you can use an air ratchet, etc. On the right day on Ebay, for not too much more than the asking price of the one you mention, you will pick up a significantly better, though used, bit of kit. (If you do have a look, make sure it's not 3 phase, unless you're lucky enough to have a 3 phase supply !)
Happy hunting.
Mike.

I saw that and thought what a bargain! but have been informed that they dont last very long and you cant repair them. A friend of mine bought an unbelievably cheap diesel generator, when it siezed up a couple of months later - he belived!
