I went up to French Car Spares in Hockliffe Beds, on thursday for a couple of XM bits, aside from having traipsed up there for nothing (they said they had a Mk.1 XM but in fact had only Mk.2s.) the guys there seem pretty ok and they had a Mk2 V6 hatch and a Mk2 Estate (Engine unknown) that had a fair amount of useable parts on them. Also shedloads of Xantiae and BX, and a veritable herd of Pugs of different flavours. Open M-F and saturday mornings they are on 01525 211411 and sited on the main A5 between Dunstable and Hockliffe. Heading north it's on the right.
Hope this info is useful to someone.

Yeh they are a good bunch of lads, I've managed to raid most bits of their XM's as they come in. Very reasonable as well.

Hi Mark,
They were very apologetic as I had gone for S1 parts and they thought they had an S1 which transpired to be S2, I'm going to call them every couple of weeks in the hope that they get an S1 for me to plunder....
Where are you based by the way?

Went for a look this morning, they have a green estate S2 2.5 VSX diesel with front end damage - engine gone. A black 2.0 CT SX with good body pannels, engine gone. There is a good nose cone, he wants £20 for it

My mistake; I'd thought the black hatch to be a V6; Are there any other breakers in the area with XMs presently?

Very good service. I got a suspension cylinder off him.
30 quid plus post arrived a couple of days later.

Hi citroenxm,
I don't suppose you also have 2 good scuttle panel end covers in maroon (series 2)?
Thanks

ooo thats a good one.. Mackay1,
I'm sure I dont, as they were broken before removal... If you need, shall keep a close eye out for you..
My S1 SEi is green, scuttle too, so wont need them myself.
My S1 24v is grey, so that wont need them either..

Hi Citroen XM
Mk1 and Mk2 scuttle trims are slightly different sizes and are not interchangable.

Hi xmexec,
Cheers, was just making a point that I would be needing a maroon one anyway, despite that small point. Thanks, I was unsure of this, but didn't realise Citroen extended the scuttles..
good info.. Thanks

Hi Citroen XM & Makay1
Had a search in the not earmarked for one of my cars heap last night. Have 2 sets of Mk2 scuttle trims in Maroon but all have the little plastic clips broken. Also found a silver Mk2 set and a couple of others odd ones Have a pair of new unpainted ones somewhere but they eluded me. Also found 8 Mk1 ones in grey and black. When I get time I will see if I can use ABS cement to make a good Maroon set.
