Glad to have you on board. Sorry I cant remember your exact model or year maybe you could add that to your signature in your profile.
If you have standard (non-hydractive) suspension then it's almost certainly your spheres. With the car running press down on the wing or the bumper on each side. The weight of an average man should make the bumper sink by 2-3 inches (50-75mm for our continental members). If you keep your weight there the rear height corrector should react and admint more fluid to the rear struts and bring you back up to the same height again. If you release the bumper then the car should immediately spring upwards by about the same amount. Another test would be to lower the car to the bumpstops and then move the height lever to full height. The flatter all your spheres are, the more fluid has to be pumped from the reservoir to the struts and hence it takes longer for the car to rise to the same height.
If your car has Hydractive suspension then it can be either:
The spheres as in the explanation above or the additional centre sphere either of which may be flat.
or
the electrovalve which opens and closes the centre sphere may be faulty and staying closed (no power)
