Hi all
I have an ongoing although not to serious loss of hydraulic pressure which manifests itself mainly in cold weather in a very slow pressure rise from starting. Once up and running its OK except that the back drops very quickly and you loose all brake pressure after a few minutes. Noz suggested I disconnect the return pipes one at a time to see where the fluid is coming from, which today I did. I didn't have to look far as the large pipe next to the pump feed is returning large quantities of fluid even before the regulator cuts in, when it does the quantity changes from large to torrential.
I have tried to follow the pipe but it splits in two directly below the reservoir, one goes to the front, which I suspect is the regulator return and the other heads for the drivers side, changes into a metal pipe, and then dissapears. Any suggestions?
