Jus thought this might be a goog addition, a sectiondedicated to what parts form other citroens, or even other cars in general. I my only contribution so far that the Bosch Dual coil ingition amp is the same part used on the Alfa 164 Twin spark, the 2.0 LX xanatia uses the same starter and engine but use marelli management. As do the 2 litre 605s. As the number of XM's dwindle from scrap yards this information will be worth colating and listing.

I've just fitted the 1580cc engine from the Peugeot 405 which is just the same as that fitted to Bx's, using the original Xm injection/ignition system.
The reason is that here we pay less road tax for engines under 1600cc and maybe to save fuel. I was looking for the best of both worlds, a big comfortable safe car with good fuel economy. Rouben. |

Hi everyone ,just for the record the oil filter for the Xantia 1.9 td is the same as the 2.1 td xm mk2.
