> Clutch Going Up The Creek, clutch problem

the clutch on my 1995 XM 2 CT estate has started to make screeching noises and to slip at higher speeds. I suspect it is well on the way out. I have been quoted close to £850 for a new one! The car has done 120000 miles, but was running well.
My point is that my head says get rid of it (to a scrappy?) and get a 940 estate, my heart says fix it.
I need guidance - what would you do?
Kevin

Hi Kevin.

FIX IT! You'd regret the 940.. Worse ride, worse fuel economy ....

Were are you?? I'd fit a clutch for less then half that price!! Thats a stupid price..

I agree with citroenxm. Theres nothing to touch the XM for comfort or space.

From a selfish point of view, I would replace the clutch, especially if you need a new clutch and the one I have for sale (new, cheap) is correct spec. !!!!
