High,
I just missed buying a copy of the Peter Russek `Pocket Mechanic' book on the XM, covering 4 cylinder and V6 engines. My thoughts were that this combined with the in depth coverage given in Norrie's excellent CD could be a very useful combination; I didn't realise that anyone had written a book covering the V6........ Before I lose too much sleep over missing the thing, or waste time trying to find a copy online, does anyone know whether it was any good? Regards, Jim. |

Although I've never seen the book in question the Russek series gets pretty good crit on other forums. However, the quotes are usually of the form 'better than Haynes....' I have that book a friend who works for Citroen gave it to me well worth getting as the more info you have the better. don't matter that you missed it is on e-bay for sale every few weeks

Unfortunately it only covers the earlier 90 degree V6 engines. Also the anti-sink system is not mentioned in either words or diagrams.
