Free to good home. The old 2.0L has finaly had its day. The daily running costs have become too great for my wife, who has reluctantly switched to a Diesel Golf. I don't have the accomodation to be able to sit and break it, and very few parts much use for the V6, so it has to go whole. Not worth advertising. I have a local breakers yard who will take it off my hands for free if I drive it in, but thought that I would offer it here first.

Known faults? Requires a new exhaust, probably complete with cat, although the car dates from before compulsory cat testing for the MOT. Slight crumple in bonnet where drivers strut came up when mount failed a couple of years ago. Everthing else works! inc. all electrics!!! Aprox. 110,000 miles, fully receipted service history, front tyres only done around 10,000 miles, many new parts, inc. strut tops, abs sensors, new spheres about four years ago,(and rides better than the V6 at the moment!)

It has been a superb car for the last six years, I was third owner and have put nearly 70,000 miles on the clock. Only one road-side breakdown when the strut top popped. Paid £1800 for it, so it owes me nothing now.

Only catch? I live just outside of Aberdeen , but if you want to make the journey, come and take it away.

Too, late. Gone to make drinks cans and cheap little Nissans. Pity, it even had a pair of 18 month old strut tops.
