Citroen Xm 2.0 Sei Auto Needs Loving New Owner, ...or will be scrapped

SAVE AN XM FROM AN UNTIMELY DEMISE


sadly after 6 joyous years with my XM auto 2sei - maroon - we will have to part company

due to an inconsiderate hit and run joyrider who severely gashed the left rear panel, ripped off the wing mirror and dented the left rear door - i am unable to afford new panelling etc and do not have the relevant skills to try and do this myself

my family with two kids loved the car especially on infrequent long journeys. always a comfort to drive in the spacious and plush leather seats - but living in central london has taken its toll with odds scrapes and scratches. and we were not using the vehicle enough really.

the car has a full service history and runs as well as can be expected
77,000 miles - H reg
1 month MOT and tax left

pros -
it still runs!!
low mileage
full service history
4 newish tyres one year old
fully operational black leather seats
all water pipes fitted new recently
upgraded stearing bushes
good for spare parts
hydraulic system works - no known leaks
i have lots of headlamp spare parts from another old XM!
Haynes manual

cons -
damaged left rear panel
ripped off left wing mirror
slight oil leakage from sump - repairable i am told
back right window mechanism needs looking at - currently disconnected and window fixed shut
several scrathes and scrapes on front and sides

if you are an interested XM lover or citroen collector and want to save this dear old XM....
.....you are more than welcome to have the car for FREE as long as you can pick it up/drive it away

if you could get second hand door panels and stuff it would drastically bring the cost of the repair down!

I have them in purple but being in Glasgow its a bit far away. Just a thought.
