I'm selling my XM Extate. I've done over 15,000 miles in it and it's just about the best long distance tourer you'll get, but health reasons mean it should go.

It's a dark blue V6 Exclusive, aparently one of only 18 registered in the UK. MOT failure due to two tail lights not working (should have them fixed shortly). Features are: Climate Control, Cruise Control, Superb dark leather interior, Heated Seats front and rear.

Work is needed; the climate control doesn't work `though the compressor clutch operates ok, so maybe just needs gassing. The cruise control stopped working after going over a very bumby road. Before I bought the car, one of the engine fans had been direct wired to a switch in the cab so it can be turned on manually.

A low milage replacement engine was fitted some 18 months ago.

The car has new rear tyres (Michelin) and a spare recon starter motor. Bodywork very good apart from small dent above rear wheel arch. It was registered in 1994 but was used abroad and has a private plate.

I live in northeast Scotland, but delivery could be arranged. Price £1600 or near offer.
