I Have a 2.5td N reg XM and I keep getting a wet head every time it rains hard ...I have taken it to my two Xm garages.three times .I have had the sun roof out. and put back but it still leaks water, through the sun visors..I can hear water slashing around in my front door pillars I need to clean out the internal gutter but where do they come out....Does any body know? On my BX I could take out the rear lamp and rod and clean through that..There must be a bit of water draining out because I can see s4 light water marks on the ground by each wheel But how can I clean them effectively.......Shaun

Water can also get in via the aerial mounting, take it off, clean it and assemble with a little waxoil.

Outlets are "top hat" shaped plates spot welded on the outside of the top chassis rails.
Remove the front wheel arch liners to see them.
Do not poke a wire up too far as the tubes are set in expanding foam.
As a result the tubes are compressed to odd shapes and easily puntured.
Use a rounded top plastic rod for cleaning.
