I have removed the speedometer from my xm and found where the cable enters to drive the speedo is worn . Is this problem repairable if not any suggestions to solve this problem or where replacements could be obtained would be very welcome.

Has it completely lost the 'square' or only partially, the problem usually due to wear on the cable and the entry, if this is so you can slightly alter the position of the cable by fitting a washer under the driven end, this will give a better shaped section in the speedo.

Unfortually most cables Ie. Speedo and clutch are hard to impossible to find..

However. I beleve if you remove them from the car "Speedy Cables" can copy them and make them up.. i know they can clutch cables.. not 100% sure of the speedo one though.. worth a call to them and asking..
