Hi, all
my audio head unit was not quite good, so I found and bought in eBay UK a brand new KENWOOD together with an interface adaptor which they claimed to fit my xm's steering wheel radio control ( my xm is for the French car market). unfortunately, the box worked miserably, so I trusted my remote controller to a car electrical agent in Osaka , Japan. I'm now satisfied with it, more than perfect ! because enables me to change the role allocations of switches arbitrarily at any time without touching the wires. "press and hold "function is ok as well as on the head unit. the trick is just a learning controller, being put into the lines lying in the backyard of the head unit, then you can teach it what to do at your command. I dismantled the remote controller from the steering wheel and sent it to him, ![]() he probably analyze the printed circuit board in it and make an appropriate adoptor, and he retuned it with my remote controller. ![]() It remains fine for these 3 years since then. any head unit is probably OK, as long as equipped with infra-red control function. im now enjoying supreme sound of a new Nkamichi.
