I especially liked the first photo of the convoy and it was good to hear XMs are popular and still going strong in Sweden! If I had the funds and storage I might be up to 18 XMs, although six already seems quite excessive!! Regards, Matthew T.

Hi Lundin,

Thanks for your reply and I understand why you have mostly series one, which I also think are nicer!! My collection of six cars includes three early V6 and I am also very fortunate to own a 1991 PRV 24v.

In the UK at least according to the 'How Many Are Left' website there are around 1,600 XMs, of which about 1,000 are on the road. I calculate that about 500 of the total are series one, which includes only 11 24v!!

Please do let us have more details and photos of your collection and here are some of mine!

With regards,

Matthew T.

Your cars seems to be in a wery good stand !! ohmy.gif biggrin.gif

My cars are not in that stand, it is really hard to find a XM in a good stand her in Sweden, they are wery cheap to buy and then nobody thinks there is no reason to maintenance them,,, mad.gif

I also have a 91 24V, if you are a real XM-entusiast you got to have one !! cool.gif laugh.gif

Here am I driving with my "dailyuse-XM" on a race track, original V6-90 except the frontbrakes, keeping up with Peugeot 306 Gti with R-tyres, i had original street-tyres.

Many thanks for your comments Lundin and do post us some photos of the series one 24v sometime! It must be quite hard to keep the cars in good order with your severe winters, although we also get a lot of salt used on the roads here. With regards, Matthew T.

According to the member list of the swedish citroen club there are 88 s1 and 146 s2 in the club. Of course there are many more XMs in Sweden, but it says something about the proportion. The clubmember Lundin havent registered anyone yet... wink.gif

Thugh the numbers of the XM:s changes all the time it seems no point to register them,,, blink.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
