The restoration works seem to be coming along well and here is a picture of brand new early style alloy wheel for the colour that I hope is helpful. My two 12vs are also sei spec., with one manual and one auto box. If you could let us have the original reg. for your car we can identify the area code. With regards, Matthew T. Who does your wheel refurbs? as I have a set of these which are in the nomal 'corroded' conistion and I really want the diamond cut finish back on them but no one seems to be able to do this -------------------- Of all the things I have lost I think I miss my mind the most

Hi Zaphod,
I overhauled the wheels myself like Robert S. with a good clean up and respray. After removing the surface corrosion the unpainted sections can be polished with an electric drill/grinder attachment or by hand with emery paper if you are patient. It is well worth the effort but take care with the alloy which is quite soft. Regards, Matthew T. -------------------- 1990 XM V6 sei auto - Platinum
