Hi All

I seem to recall a posting that questioned if the grills and headlights were interchangable between Mk1's and Mk2's. I can confirm that Mk1 bits fit a Mk2 having just had to use a MK1 headlight and grill as a temporary repair to one of my MK2's that go reversed into.
This also allowed me to remove the plastic lense from the dip beam of the replacement headlight to see how much improvement this makes to the beam and its spread. I was surprised the neither of the plastic lenses showed any sign of yellowing.
Can anyone give me a potted history of the best way to improve XM headlights. Perhaps I had better put this last request up as a seperate item otherwise I will get cautioned for rambling again.
