Hello! I have one question; I know that the standard sizing for XM tires is 195/65/r15. I already know that 205/65/r15 work just fine. But i would like to know if someone tried 215 or 225 on 15 inch rims, and if its fine and dandy and no issues at all with the et of the rim or steering problems. Thank you chaps, owe you one!

Hi bobulfh

205/65/15 is a standard XM tyre size for 2.5TD & Mk2 V6-24V XM's.
These are a fairly tight fit in the wheel arches.
When the lower wishbone bushes are worn these tyres will rub on the arch liners.
I do not think going to any wider or larger diameter wheel will work on an XM.
