I have caught on a rock or similar the plastic sheath that protects/holds in position the various pipes and cables under my Phase 2 estate and part of it has snapped off. I had similar problems with my older XM as well. Has anyone worked out a modification that replaces these vulnerable items with something less breakable ? Or does anybody have a spare one they don't need ?

Hi Richard

It is usually the front section that gets damaged.
I have seen these made up from thin steel plate.
Will try to look one out to measure up as a pattern.

If you mean the small plastic cover half way down the car, I have one.

Just been into a main Citroen dealer to try and ID the part number, without much joy. The broken section is on the passenger side (RHD) more-or-less under the front seat; there is a long thin piece to the rear and a more box-like piece linked to it at the front. It is the rear of the box-like piece that has snapped off, so the box is no longer supported at the rear and is hanging down, along with the various pipes it is supposed to protect.
