Hi Prijik
Welcome to our forum. Ask your questions and we will try to help. Dravi was not fitted to Right Hand Drive UK XM's only to Left Hand drive cars for the rest of Europe. Dravi was fitted to UK RHD Citroen CX's and many of our members know all about these cars. Someone should be along to give you an answer soon. John -------------------- An interest in 2.5TD's.

No, right hand drive cars do not have Diravi sadly. I don't know if its exactly the same system as fitted to the CX but I'm sure someone will.

Hi Prijik,
Welcome to club-xm. As you can see from the messages above, XMs in the UK were not fitted with Diravi at all. They were fitted with Dirass instead. I have never seen a Diravi unit fitted to an XM so I do not know what it looks like. However, I have disassembled the Diravi unit on a CX. I know the unit very well. It looks like you have confirmed that the XM Diravi is not the same as the CX Diravi. That is a shame. Do you have a specific problem you would like to discuss? If you write back here with a description of the problem and possibly some photographs then maybe we can help. I assume you are using Google translate to read these messages? I hope the translation works well and you can understand. regards, noz -------------------- '10 '59' C5 2.0 HDi Exclusive Tourer Metallic Grey

Thank you very much.
Yes, I am translating a translator Google. Photos so far, I have not shot Diravi, it still works, but there are leaks LHM. Fix Diravi in Ukraine can not, no they have not any spare parts (((That's why I asked you, in the hope that you have a lot of these cars and you're familiar with this problem. I ordered a second hand steering in Spain, but there is also very little XM with 3.0 motor found in this till then I need not do. We look for. |

Hi!
I drove a 1995 V6-12 with Diravi here in Japan from 1995 to 2004. The steering rack sprung a leak 4 or 5 years after I bought it. A new rack was the (very expensive) solution. The XM was and still is a popular car in the Netherlands and there is at least one company that rebuilds hydraulic parts at reasonable prices. You might get more information from the XM forums in the Netherlands. For example: http://www.citroen-forum.nl/forums/viewforum/17/ http://xmclub.nl/Nieuwforum/viewforum.php?...ba32e7a15260a7f I wish you luck -------------------- 2000 XM 3.0 V6 24v Exclusive Auto 70k km (LHD; ORGA 8569)

Hi Prijik,
there is o-ring set for CX's Diravi, from which you can use most of the rubber parts for XMs diravi - original from Citroen. Basically the leak is from the both ends where are the rubber gaiters. I'll check for the repair manual and will upload it somewhere. |
