Hi folks, just came across this forum lastnight whilst looking up info on strut tops , and after seeing pics of them through the bonnet I swapped mine over for some old spare ones until I get some recon ones.

Im currently on my 2nd Xm, A 1990 Mk1 V6 Sei auto, prior to that a Mk2 2LTurbo until someone who was indicating didnt turn and smacked into the side of me .
No injuries to me so she did her job well, but the chassis was twisted where the other car impacted on the driver side door so the drive home was the last she ever did, but even twisted to hell and pulling to one side was still a way nicer drive than many other cars ;p .
Before Xm`s I always drove GS/GSA`s , but the ones I had were more rust and patches than bodywork in the end and have all long since gone, but they too were an amazing car.

Anyhow if you see a dark green Xm V6 cruising about, or being driven like it was a GS, in the Worcs/Glos area of the Uk then chances are its me

I hope you kept your old tops off your V6 originally, I am collecting them up to send for refurbisment... but need to get some together first ..

I have V6 XMs too... two of them, one a V6 sei 12v auto, 1993 K in green, thhe other a S1 H reg 1991 V6 24v Manual..

I think the PRV is a great engine when behaving.. they make a fantastic inlet growl, especially the 24v with twin plenium throttle bodys...
