desparately seeking... citroen ride

Hi all,

I had in the past an XM 2.1td S2 but due too problems had to let her go to another home

Anyway I really miss the Citroen ride and am looking to get another if anyone has or knows of any.
I have 2 requirements:

she must be auto
she must be diesel

would love another XM but other models considered

I have a budget of £500 or 600 if i cut off both my legs and blind my eyes!!

PLEASE help me to get back to the magic carpet ride

I can match two of your crieteria, ive a 2.oi Turbo Auto Onyx with LEather up for grabs, of course, the Auto is a match, and the price too, around 500 to 600 quids... but of course, shes petrol.. THOUGH, there is an LPG install on her NON CERTIFIED! But works, giving around 45mpg...

you know that sounds pretty perfect! especially with the LPG system on her...I dont really give a monkeys if it's not registered just as long as it works

forgive my ignorance here, but...s1.5? I guess it was inbetween the two series so what style dash/steering wheel (airbag?) is it?

The only downside I can see is your pretty far from me.....move to kent!

S1.5's are in my opinion the BEST of the whole range - I mean this with suspension in mind, as the S1.5 appear to have the most reliable setup...

Its extreamilly rare you find a S1.5 with Diode problems, they have got S2 bolted earth points, two spoke NON Air bag steering wheel, S1 dash, S1 rear spoiler...

Ive also added electric centre arm rest, and wood trim in the centre console. Ive recently done quite a bit of work to her, replacment engine due to oil useage, new auto trans fluid, new cam belt, water pump, oil. Replacment strut tops, new exhaust from 'Catalyst' backwards, and Ive also located Air Con pipework to get the Air Con all up and working again, as its fited.

The sunroof does NOT work, and the rear drivers side window is a little slow and stiff... all others work.

She has around 10 momths MOT and 5 months TAX.. I need to attend to a slight fluid leak on the transmission, Im hoping its the drain cover seal, and theres also a tiny oil leak too.... She doesn't use any water or oil, Ive done around 600 miles in her since MOT - never failed to start and drove nicely...
