Starting young, My first citroen

Hi all,
Have been reading through most of the posts on here now and thought its time for me to introduce myself.
I'm 19 years old and will be starting uni next year. Currently i am spending a year in europe and ironically currently in a hotel room in paris
I have always preferred french cars for their design and character, much unlike all the jap appliances we have here on NZ. But each to there own.
I saw my first XM in london and loved how it looked and i made a mental note of researching the car and ever since have been wanting to have one.

I am excited to announce that i have just purchased my first Xm! Non other than the mk1 2.0 SEI of "KIWI".

My Dad drives a xantia and also has a renault alpine gta aswel as a renault 8 that he is restoring. My mum traded her modern Espace for a renault 16ts as a daily driver.
And i in my short driving time have had a volvo 740 and 940.

So as you can probably see the addiction runs in the blood.

Looking forward to getting back to in nz and driving my new car!!
Also look forward to getting my hands dirty looking after my Xm.

Hi Rik,

I bought my first XM when I was 18.

It was a black 1992 V6 SEi Manual. Was a great car.

Best of luck with yours and enjoy it once you get it back!
