New Forum Skin, Try this one for size

Hi all,

As you can tell I have update the default skin ( the way it looks to you) for club-xm. Its part of the new features being added to club-xm. More are on the way.

Thanks go to Peter of IBForen for this curernt skin and for his continued help and interest in club-xm. Thanks also to Andmcit for the image in the header for which he has kindly permitted to be used.

If this skin is not to your taste you can revert to the original default skin by clicking on "My Controls" at the top right of the screen, click on "skins and languages" under "Options " at the bottom left of the next screen and choose "invision Poer Board". That should get you back to the original skin.

Comments in favour or otherwise are welcome.

thought I'd clicked the wrong link in my favourites and gone to the wrong forum, did it twice before I realised what was happening .
Looks pretty good to me
I'll be able to tell which clubxm forum I'm on now

I'm not to taken with them myself but I suppose that goes for a lot of new ideas until they become 'comfortable'.

Hi Noz,

New skin looks fine to me apart from the smaller font sizes used in some areas - as an ageing specs wearer I appreciate all the help I can get with reading screen text!! I know that I could use the screen Zoom feature but would prefer not to.

Hi Ken,

You're right. I never spotted that. I've just opened two windows with the old and new skins loaded and the font is indeed smaller.

I'll see what can be done.

Yeah, I like the look of things, too

About the chevrons:
Charles Aouad, the man behind the current design, claims that "the chevrons are complex," and that "they are designed on a case-by-case basis" even though the "aim is for them to be read identically from one vehicle to another".
