Hi guys, Let me introduce myself..I,m a Scotsman..retired ex-race car mechanic..F5000,sports cars, european & british touring cars & fia gt,s now living in Leiden, Holland.
I,ve just finished installing a zpj4 to my road going Renault Alpine..the engine is modified & fitted with 6 no. Toyota 4age blacktop throttle bodies.
My problem...I had a friend modify a Renault 25 turbo ecu to suit...electronics is not my game...trying to keep most parts Renault. the car starts & runs but does not answer the throttle or idle. so back to my friend..the reason is the Toyota tps. is not compatable with the Renault ecu. & he recommends I install the zpj4 throttle position sensor.
What I need from you electronic experts out there is.
What colour wire from the tps. plug is...5 volt square wave.
what colour the idle position & finally what colour the wide open throttle position.
For those interested in my tbs..I did away with the main inlet plenium chamber & using the inlet runners I had plates cnc machined to siut the runners & the Toyota tb,s...I have 2 sets of plates for sale If anyone is interested in doing somthing similar.
