Hi..newbie Here!, just become part of the family

Hi all,
Always fancied an XM taken a punt on a 1995 vsx 2.1 TD - really quite tatty most of it just cosmetic! and MOT till end Nov '10 for £250.....not bad????
it does have some of the usual issues I've heard about including: drivers window not working its up and loose (bout 1cm play all round) hear motor noise and clicks so possible cable, but cant download the self help pdf put up in self help topics!! also passenger wing mirror does not seem to work on electric control, drivers side fine! and also no remote fob, just 1 lonesome key ....... any help would be greatly appreciated, but BEWARE I am not that mechanically minded ( , so simplist walkthroughs the best!!

tried the IE tab to no effect but last post on the forum, that you gave link for by 'Dr Tim' worked a treat
