Hi techman,
He's welcome to photograph mine but I might be a bit far away. Alternatively, if I knew what he was looking for I could take the photos here and send them to him. What seems to be the trouble? Can he/you narrow down where you need photos taken? Have you had a look at the exploded diagrams on service.citroen.com or on the parts microfiche? They are not bad in terms of showing you which pipe connects to where. If you don't have access to the site I can pdf the diagrams and send them to you. Please let me know how I can help. as a P.S.,
I certainly wouldn't worry too much about the EGR. I've disconnected it on all three of my 2.5TDs. Its a fine concept when the car is new and the quantity of blowpass is small but when you need it the most, ie as the engine gets older and the blowpass increases, the tar-laden blowpass just gums up the intake manifold. Have you ever seen inside an intake manifold using EGR? The thick, tarry deposits significantly reduce the internal bore of the manifold and the "rougness factor" compared to a smooth, clean aluminium surface is horrendous resulting in less airflow dellivered to the engine. The concept is flawed. I would leave it disconnected. I disconnect mine electrically at the vacuum pump. That way, the ECU can still read the solenoid valve, which controls the vacuum and thinks its still all hunky dory. noz -------------------- '10 '59' C5 2.0 HDi Exclusive Tourer Metallic Grey
