How do i get at the wire connections in the sunroof switch? They looklike they're crimped into a sealed plug unit. I read on here that they can get dirty but can be cleaned...
The open button works, the closed one doesn't without unscrewing the light fitting and yanking the relevant closure wire about until there's enouh contact to close the roof. Perhapds I need a new roof console.... -------------------- 1994 S2 CT auto petrol hatch blue, 100k

The switches can go intermittent, try squirting some WD40 into them, it works with the window switches.

In my experience the contacts in these particular plugs seldom give trouble.
If you release the double latching on the plug contacts then the individual connectors pull out. They are then fairly easy to retension. For release you need two very narrow and thin bladed screwdrivers and three hands. There is a Citroen release tool but never seen it avalable as a seperate item.
