Front Bumper and Grille, Series II Silver

Hi all,

I had a small altercation with another vehicle last Saturday. Classic roundabout catch. Following car in front towards roundabout, looked right, nothing coming, person in front does an emergency stop for no reason. Bang.

I was so angry at myself since I normally wouldn't look to my right with a car in front for that very reason. I'd normally watch their rear until it was absolutely certain that they were committed and then I'd look right. A momentary lapse of concentration I suppose.

Anyhow, I find myself in the embarassing position of requiring a front bumper and grille (silver if possible but beggars cannot be choosers). Is there anyone out there with spares they'd like to part with for some spondoolas?

I also broke a headlight but luckily I had one in stock.

Sorry to hear about your prang, very common down here, the juntion from Axminster to the A30 is littered with broken glass, my son hs been hit there twice.

My wife wrote off the green one last year, I still have it but the front o/s front took the full force.

The garage I work for should have the parts you need, Im working for my dad, whose garage it is, from abroad at the moment, but if you ring them up on

they should be able to tell you if they have the parts (I know we have a bumper, if your car is a series 1, not sure if its a series 2) and we might have a grill.

We are based in Chatham, Kent, 35 miles east of London, but we do mail order if you live far away from there.

just spotted at top of thread its a series 2 - doh, we do have a series 2 bumper, but cant remember if it was good or not (its attached still to the car), if you the ring the garage they will be able to look and tell you

Hi Noz

I'm breaking my green 2.5. Have just removed front bumper, all good no splits or scratches, very slight scuff on front right corner. Yours if you'd like.

Am now driving another 2.5 thanks to ebay a few weeks ago, a lot of effort getting through MOT but fingers crossed will be as good as the previous one. This one being the fifth 2.5 I've owned!

I have a brand new front bumper for a S2 in factory primer, may come a bit pricey (but insurance will not be willing to new price, I'm sure), and carriage would be to your cost, but seeing it is so relatively light that should not be a problem.
