where were you guys,i just sold a lovely xm,well gave it away actually to stop it being scrapped,it drove like new,was the diesel manual 2100 cc,failed the mot on a trackrod end and a little bit of welding on the sills,fortunately i managed to persuwade a car guy what a beauty of a car it was and he,s going to weld it up and run it as a tow car for his business,,self leveling suspension,ideal,tow bar fitted away ,he goes on four new tyres ,i advertised this car on your site,not one reply from all you enthusiasts for a lousy 100 quid,,i just bought a c5 estate,diesel,,nice car but not in the same league as an xm..that was my fifth xm and the only one i found rusty,,and that was only minor so you all missed a bargain,the engine had just over 80,000 and the cam belt and bearings had been done at 70,000,now i will see how i get on with the c5,,bought it for a song,no tax no mot no warranty at auction,,turns out she,s a good one,loads of bills,timing belt belt done 20.000 ago,put a set of tyres on her and she went straight through an mot,,still dont like it as much as an xm though,,its a real shame to see cars like the xm scrapped for the sake of a bit of decent engineering,,i also have a lovely little rx7 sports,just fitted a new engine,she has to go though ,need the space and a xk 150 which isnt for sale,i also got a little alfa gtv which i love,the frost got the laquer on the paint and its lifting,so its a total respray which is a real pain,,so i will put it off the road for a few weeks untill i do it,alfas are awesome,love driving them,i dont know if any of you guys have any knowledge of the c5 if i get a problem,i will let you know,,over and out chris..
