Hi Guys
Anyone noticed a deterioration in the quality of NGK glowplugs ? Used to be thought of as around top of the tree, but I've had several fail prematurely over the last year or so (on different cars). Can't help but wonder if production has been outsourced to China, with typical consequences. Will be going Bosch or Beru next time. Mike. -------------------- XM 2.5VSX Estate RP 7185

Hi Mike just browsing around and found this post
I have to agree with you about the lifespan of the ngk glowplugs we have had a lot of premature failures in the last year and have started using bosch and beru glowplugs and the results are looking good We are also having trouble with ngk sparkplugs failing prematurely and also burning the seal out between the ceramic core and the steel body in as little as 1000 miles we are also testing bosch and other makes of sparkplug out in our own fleet of cars atm the bosch plugs are going well in my 2.0 tct Mick -------------------- 95 xm 2.0l turbo exclusive hatch 77,000 rp 6766
