Some of you may have already noticed that because the forum was down for a long time the last messages posted are about a year old. What is amazing is that conversations that were frozen in time have picked up where they left off as if there had been no time gap in between. However, some of the original posters have not yet returned to club-xm so they may well not answer you if you return their post. The're not being rude, they simply dont know that you've replied. Please bear with them and after a while the 'problem' will go away by itself, naturally.

If you are using the search function to look for previous posts on a particular topic remember to select the search time frame of "Any time" rather than the default of "30 Days ago". The default seach of 30 Days or less of course will return few hits or none at all.

I now understand a lot more about the forum software and its relationship with mySQL and therefore understand now where the problem lies. The ipb v1.2 software upon which this forum runs is not compatible with mySQL 5.0. I will be attempting to update the forum software in the near future to one which is compatible.

We will get there !
