They look very much like the part of the loom for the drivers side door - the Round one is the bit that connects the door to the rest of the loom, the rectangular one looks like the control box for the one-touch mechanism on the electric window.

Hi
To me the roung one is from the door shut were the wiring for electric windows Mirror door ct lock ETC

The second one there are a number of this type of plugs look just like that on but I would say that also is for the door electrics and not for the engine bay

Hope that helps

Hi

These are NOT door loom plugs. They are from the engine bay. From my vehicle stripping I can recall being surprised to find a plug coupling under the battery box that used the same plug as the front door connections. As to function sorry I was not taking a record but I will have a look at the recovered loom and add another reply if this look adds any information.

Regards

Hi again

Are the plugs you have shown connected to the engine or are they complete with cut wire ends where they have been separated from the main wiring loom. In my heep of junk (spares store) I have found a chunk of recovered loom from a 95 2ltr that has the same type of round plug connected to things like the engine bay fuse box. Do you know the model and age of the car your engine came from?

Hi again, Ill try and take another pic to clarify but the engine loom ends in the male side of these plugs - and the pic is of the female side of the plugs that yes head into the car/fuse box but they have been cut.Just to see if anyone had a pin out for these plugs. Other pic soon!

Thanks again all,Jamie

Edit - the loom/eng is from a 2.0 turbo L reg!

Hi

Found a scrap car with your two plugs to look at.
The brown rectangular plug goes to an Auto gear box.
