Thought id update this ...
I sent off everything to the new owner, with the V5 and the registration form which i had filled in with my details in the 'grantee' section (signs the registration back ovber to me), i also sent the cheque to retain the plate on retention. Last week i got everything back, from the DVLA, including the MOT certificate which the new keeper had posted to the DVLA and the signed forms. The DVLA letter said i had not enclosed the cheque, so this has got lost somewhere between me sending it to the seller and them sending it to the DVLA. So i cancelled that cheque, wrote up another and took everything to the (not so) local DVLA office for them to process it. They said it should be done in a few days, thanks goodness thats over. Now i have just recieved the Tax renewal form for my old car so ill have to send that to them now. You know, there is no wonder so many people (us included) collect cars, they are so much trouble to sell! Chris. -------------------- 1995 'N' XM 2.1TD VSX Manual Estate, magenta red - 62K miles
