Hi,
In the process of sorting out the LPG kit fitted to the XM, I need to confirm the location and colours/marking of the wiring for the lambda sensor. Now as far as I know it's in the black 4 way connector under the LHM tank (black connector with red tabs, all wires being side by side). Does this sound correct? Thanks. Another thing to look for on the plug there WILL be the famous SAAB word on it!!!!
So it also features a NON Citroen Loom type plug... Looks like Saab manufacture the Lambda for all manufactures! Seen it a few times now and various cars I didn't connect mine back up to the Lambda sensor, not sure what difference I should have found.. Thanks Paul, I'll have a closer look at the connector.
I think that LPG kit has been connected up to the Lambda heater wire (Grey one if I'm reading the diagram correctly). In the handbook for the kit (BIGAS SGIS-N) it shows the wires as being unconnected. Could it be the main advantage is that it allows you to see the lambda values when calibrating the LPG? Hopefully Tinley Tech will come back with a rational explanation. Steve. -------------------- XM 2.1 SED - RP5876

The answer from Tinley Tech is so that you can monitor what the cars ECU is reading via the LPG software. It isn't needed but useful for diagnostics.
Just need to find the correct wire now. Steve. -------------------- XM 2.1 SED - RP5876
