Colin.P

The thing about the forum currently, is there are no (unintentional) prejudices triggered by
the way another poster may look and the written word is taken at face value; I guess we
may all look like escaped convicts/America's most wanted!

Or like this:

Sure, there wouldn't be any time to spare tinkering with dirty oily old Citroens!! wink.gif

Actually Colin, to answer your question in another post and help PeterN,
I dug this out from elsewhere:

to use www.photobucket.com and load the picture you want you simply follow
the prompt:

user posted image

Then when it's loaded into the database highlight and copy, then paste onto
this forum the code for your chosen picture that is highlighted in blue in either
of the equivalent screen shots below:

user posted image
OVERVIEW SCREEN OPTION

OR

user posted image
SPECIFIC CLICKED TO VIEW SINGLE PICTURE BIGGER OPTION

which ends up showing up on this forum as:

Photobucket has had a slight facelift since the screen grabs shown
so I've just saved some new ones:

1: Where you get started on www.photobucket.com - remember too you'll need to activate
a username with password access on their system to post images. The images/video upload:

user posted image

2: To get a specific picture you click on the upload option which will pop up a search
dialogue to choose what you want to post:

user posted image

Which then uploads onto photobucket and is catalogued onto your user account where
it is viewed in two ways:

A - small thumbnail with annoying dropdown options box which plays hard to get:

user posted image
user posted image

the code required for a forum picture insert is the whole string such as:
[ IMG]http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g318/Andmcit/Picture24.png[/IMG]

*To get the code to display, I've slipped a barspace after the first [IMG)

B - a larger image filling the screen better when clicking on the previous thumbnail:

user posted image

3: After all that, it can be copied and pasted onto the script entry as you would any posting,
giving an end result of:

user posted image

The odd quirk with photobucket is their images always lock to the same width that you can
have some choice of the scale for so there's no chance of showing the final picture much
bigger than the previous step B shown above it - mind, in this case it was a small size to
start with! biggrin.gif

What's the story with the wheels Colin; were they a Citroen accessory? Are they 15's?

Thanks for that Citroenmad, more pics to follow now I know how wink.gif

Hi Andrew, The wheels are just "off the shelf" aftermarket 15" wheels with citroen centre caps, they came with the car - actually, the photo I posted was taken on the day I bought the car, It looked nice and was totally unmollested but was VERY tired... lots has been done to it since - next on the list will be a complete respray in the same colour so's I can repair and lose all the little dings and scrapes, just got to get the money together first wink.gif

Cheers, Colin.P
