- is this the reason why I can't view .jpg images from here? they're always a page of coding.

Ages back someone offered a roundabout way of viewing them but I can't recall who or where it was said (sure it was on here though)

Right click on the link, select 'Save As' or 'Save Target As' or 'Save Link As' or whatever similar option your browser gives. Ensure that the filename it tries to save as has .JPG at the end (it may not) and make sure you know where you have saved it and what it is called. You can then find the file in Windows Explorer (or Linux or Mac equivalent) and double click it and it will open.

You then have to delete the file afterwards to tidy it up.

It is rather a roundabout way and I often don't bother with non-embedded images because it is such a faf.

I think Noz did look at it a while back and couldn't work out what was wrong. If anyone can help him then it would be a great help for us all.

It does seem to work in IE, but not in Firefox and probably not in any other browser.

If you use FireFox you can also use the IETab plugin that allows you to change over to IE within your firefox window and then the picture links will work - but again I often don't bother as it is a bit of a faf.

I use explorer when i want to view those type of pictures.

Peter, the easiest thing to do is make an account on www.photobucket.com, upload your pictures to there and copy and past the bottom link of each picture. Then it will appear on here as a picture.

Sounds a little bit of a chew on but its easy really smile.gif
