Hi Guys,

Wanna share my personal collection of various Citroens that I came across within the country. The pictures were taken from Mobile Phone, thus the quality. Enjoy. cool.gif

Very interesting. Thanks!!

That black Xm spotted in Subang Jaya is a bit "challenging..." blink.gif
Were many of those Xm's (and the Sm!!!) being saved or broken?

I'd love to have that white GS estate! sad.gif

Hi Derek

I'm with you here. I look through these pictures and stop dead looking at the SM in the scrap yard in disbelief.

Yet Andrew seems to mainly notice "I'd love to have that white GS estate!" It did make me laugh. Each to their own I suppose!

Cheers

Tony

laugh.gif Yes, I know I'm sad! I did ask if there was a story behind the Sm!! Likely a banana'd crash
victim, self combusted fuel injection (odd rust on the roof... blink.gif ) or the usual failed tenioner
or simply riddled with rot for such a rare car to be 'let go' like the one pictured!

The equally rare brake G is not everyone's Cit pin up but for me just as emminently saveable
and more importantly £ realistic!

Agreed! But in that climate probably a rustbucket.

Well, the White one's been under very close scrutiny and checks out reasonably well in the
key area beneath the Break side windows and the tailgate isn't riddled, though heaven knows
what the floorpan and sills look like on the deck as pictured..

It appears to have GSA doors though so not as early as it first appeared with the stainless
bumper. Now I am starting to sound sad... rolleyes.gif

Hi Citroeneer; is that maroon Xm saloon (aka the Enterprise) your car?

It's very straight and appears near new - is it original of has it been refurbished including
the alloy wheels? In the Uk, my Xm's black trim tend to fade to a grey unless treated.

Wow!

Some real gems there!

I could spend a week wandering round scrapyards like that and not get tired.

There's a certain strange beauty about unloved and deserted cars that is extremely hard to put into words. It's like looking into the past and thinking about the wonderful places they must have travelled to and the many people who travelled in them. Sort of mysterious, happy, sad, melancholy..............................

Andrew,

Yup the maroon Xm is mine. It has been well taken care and rarely parked in the out and hence the look cool.gif

Everything is original, and has recently underwent a full body polishing and waxing. The original paintwork (93') is still surprisingly good. I would post the engine pics sometime soon, have polished it to chrome.

Demag,

I have to agree with you. Abandoned citroens are a gem to the eye.
Not something we could describe.

Wanted to capture all those moments in pic before they are finally scrapped for good.

Andrew,

The next time I spot this 'XM', I would speak to the owner. Dont really know what was running in his mind mad.gif

Or maybe he wanted to test his own set of body kits...

What do you treat it with, and will it revive trim that has already gone grey?

rowanmoor,

You can wax it and if its gone really bad then they have a special paint just for the trims / bumpers.
