There's also this one on tradeit but its been on for ages, but its and auto, and the MOT has expired unless its been retested since the ad was posted.

The 99 manual is indeed a rare car, it was at the time you had to specify you wanted a manual, as an auto box was standard towards the end of production. 2.1TD manuals are rare anyway.

The black auto has been for sale a good while now, its also listed on carandclassic. A good source or Xms, also Savoy has quite a number of Xms in at the moment too. The 2.0 estate would be ideal for my dogs Its taxed and MOT'd too!

2.1td manuals are rare? on which planet?

my white 2.1td manual went for scrap no one wanted it.

my 2.1td estate went for scrap.

my taxi 2.1td manual, ran like a rocket has just got stripped.

if they are rare how come i could not sell them for a few hundred quid when i wanted them gone, and i mean for like 199 not 299 or 399

Did they have taxicab mobile phone number mileages though Lez? That'd put people off.

Well i was thinking they were reasonably rare, they certainly are now. Most 2.1s which we see for sale are autos.

Xms have never been good sellers, very few people want them now, which might explain why so many are being broken/scrapped. I just hope prices and demand rise before they are virtually wiped out.

About 5/6 years ago i could have counted 6 Xms within a 1 mile radius of my house, one being ours - the only S2, one a very nice late S1 turbo in blue which we used to look after, another slightly older Turbo, also in blue again looked after by my dad when he was a citroen specialist, another darker blue s1 1990 2.0 manual and two maroon ones, one of which never moved and one which was used daily. All have now gone apart from ours, which i think is the only one left for miles, its very very rare i see another Xm now. Both maroon ones were removed after they had sat on the drive for a few years, the 2.0 was written off and the turbo was sold to another of my dads customers who stopped using it so i presume thats now gone too.

Its a shame and a well known fact, but all Xms are very fast becoming rare

2.1 manuals after '96 are extremly rare, I would very much like a late one but I have only ever seen two. My estates are all registered in Jan 96 and were the last manuals with a Bosch mchanical pump, after that they were auto with the EPIC pump. The only manuals after that must have been to special order. I havn't seen a post '96 manual estate for probably five years.

The second car has been on a while, dont think its one of WHM.

The first one was TradeIt with the red 2.1 auto mentioned in another posting in Available.

Sorry, don't speak autos.

But the one i question was a T 2.1 manual, although admittedly a saloon not an estate.

Anyway, I didn't look in the diesel section before I commented that I hadn't seen your posts recently.

It seems you have plenty anyway (2.1 XM's that is) :-)
