Has anybody else seen this one on Autotrader?

http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/c...r=&max_mileage=

Sorry the link doesn't work, it's beyond my meagre powers.

Was it stored unregistered?

John

The link does work John,

It must have been an old stock car later registered... it seems correct as far as typo goes, as theres a link to their web site, and its still there as a 55 2006 estate... No pics as of yet.. Will be interesting to see what comes of the web site listing....

Its like the CX estate caried on for a couple of years after the saloons ended... my guess anyway..

Very odd. Particularly as I seem to recall that the XM Estate production line closed in 1999, well before the car one finished. It is in the Taunton Branch so perhaps Peter who is close will take a look.

More likely that the doris who enters the dealer's stock information mistakenly chose 'XM' rather than 'Xsara Picasso' next to it in the drop-down list smile.gif

Hi

I thought that it was probably a typo too but it's on the dealers website too

http://www.howardsgroup.co.uk/Citroen/Used...5&DoSearch.y=10

Weird. Maybe eight year old car registered or a car stored for six years and driven for two. Anyway very weird.

Cheers

Just imagine the valuation problems you would have with the insurance company when someone dented something.

Why doesn't someone ring up and speak to the dealer to clear up any confusion and put us all out
of our speculation (and 'misery') or do we need Peter to act as interpreter!? I shouldn't use a phone
for private calls as it's always so busy and there's only 2 lines in the office!! Mind, why wasn't this
time capsule made for a Cx GTi turbo, Ds23 EFi Pallas or a Traction or even an Xm s1 24v V6 rather
than a White 2.0i estate Sx!?

Hi Andrew

If it is real then it's probably because it is a 2.0si that it exists.

However I agree think of all the other interesting Citroens it could have been. I think that your "new car" wish list is missing a SM, BX 16v, Activa and a H van!

Cheers

Tony

PS. Although I'm sure someone else would like to add to this list.

It may be blasphemy, but I don't lust over owning an Sm in as much as I KNOW I won't
EVER afford to buy one but all the others are attainable and really the DS and H van
(and possibly an Ami Super) are the only "I really want's" that I can think of - the others
are well covered like the Bx valver, Activa and CX/XM and GS's...

I'd like a BX again, but a TD this time - the NA diesel was a bit slow. There's a trio of CXs - an S2 estate, a GTI, and a Prestige (someone on the CX forum has a black one with tan leather interior that gives me the horn!), an Ami, I could go on.....

The Citroen I most lust after? A Maserati Bora......

Im with you on that one, there is a Bora over here and the guy that owns it takes it to the big car show in Ryde that we have each year, his is a bit tatty but at 20 paces looks really, really very nice indeed. Would have to keep it garaged though, they seem to suffer with mk1 CX disease quite badly biggrin.gif

Ahem! Back on topic , would make him an offer (after view) except for two things.
It's NOT a diesel and it IS white.

Robert.
