Hi Colin, yes, have noticed that it's been a shade quiet here, too.
We're certainly not doing any Christmas shopping today or any other day. We have lately been in the habit of spending the day in the XM thundering through France and Iberia. Call us Bah Humbug if you like, but we enjoy the quiet drive. !! No Xm troubles apparent here at the moment either.
No idea what anyone else is up to.......

Regards, Rod & Pat.

I've broken out the Suzuki Swift for the bad weather. The XM might get a minor service tomorrow if the weather holds out.

As for Christmas? No chance. I've got an exam on Monday, a presentation on Tuesday and an essay to write on Wednesday and 7 work based competencies to write up and get signed off before the end of next week all in addition to doing my job. It's no joke being a student..... not even at my age. rolleyes.gif

I too have been absent as I've been very busy, so much so that the XMs haven't had a look in, even though one of them isn't behaving *that* well (S2 snapped its parking brake cable).

Christmas... what's that? laugh.gif
I'm just so damn busy I haven't had time to even think about it, it really has crept up and bitten me on the ass this year.

I'm liking your idea Peter! laugh.gif

Ive been quiet on here lately too.

Been busy with work, Christmas things, other commitments etc.

The Xm is now resting, after having a very good clean, while the salt is on the roads. No point in using it when i dont really need to, it just saves it from the mountains of salt build up! Ive been missing driving it though, maybe i need a winter Xm too, i know a few members have that method laugh.gif

Hopefully there will be a nice day with minimal salt soon so i can take it out again. The last trip it had was to the last CCC meeting, it doesnt seem that many Club-Xm members are in the CCC?
