Managed to sneak a few photos this afternoon, but the light was going and when connecting my camera to the PC I realised I'd left the polarising filter in, meaning the pics have a slightly ethereal quality to them. The bottom of the car is actually reflecting the ground (it's clean, honest) but the effect is to make it look dirty rolleyes.gif

Anyway

The rubberised grip round the steering wheel just proves what an old codger I've become... its prior owner had it fitted to aid him gripping the rim of the wheel, I like it because it's quite comfortable when floating about one-handed! Best value car I've had.

Nice colour too. Strange the affect light has on colour, a photo' in a sales brochure I have shows an Xm in that colour but a trick of the light makes the panelling under the rubbing strip look black. The two-tone effect makes the car look almost regal!

...or like an old Vauxhall Cavalier or a Rover 400/800... huh.gif

mind, there won't be many of them around now! (Thankfully biggrin.gif)

I like the blue Phil - could it even in passing be called 'navy' blue;
that'll match the current 'ride'

On the first picture, the polarising filter appears to leave an impression that you sandblasted your passenger side windows! blink.gif

Nice car! I am partial to non-dark colours for the XM, but this one does look good. Is that a wood steering wheel?

Was your motor originally registered to Citroen UK? The reason I ask is that my 2.1TD was originally a 'management' car with reg no R544HKV.

Well spotted Ken smile.gif

My local Citroen franchise asked the same question. Yes, it was originally a CUK car.

A very good looking car in a not often seen colour-really suits the car and that lower half 'mirror like' effect!
