Id love another Activa, if i ever find a decent one and im in the position to buy one, it will be mine!
Ours was a great tow car, we used it once or twice to pull our horse box and a horse. It was probably well over its recommended towing weight but it pulled like a train. We never tried towing it with the XM though. I dont understand why Activas are so cheap, maybe their expensive parts and the fact not many people know what they are. I notice that your Xantia has a Devon registration Wirdy, do you hail from these parts or is it a foreigner?
