Door Seals

Afternoon guys.

Does anyone know how the top rubber door seals remove... or indeed, if they are obtainable as a replacement part?

On the S1 I've suddenly started to get a regular drip coming in from above the rubber at the top of the black strip which separates the sliding and fixed / bonded window, on the driver's door.

The water appears at the top of the rubber 'bulge' at the top of the black strip, between the bulge and the plastic door trim.

I haven't yet taken anything apart to see where its coming from, but it does beg the question, can the rubber seals be obtained from Citroen if necessary?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi Ciaran

The outer door seal runs from the bottom of the windscreen to the back of the car. Not seen a defective one so far other than the part glued to the car over the door frames is usually very poorly glued. Think I recovered one last night complete and threw it in the heap so I will have a closer look next time I go over if I can find it.
I thought there was a new one on ebay so I will check that too. Have now checked. Have a look at AEP - Gutter seal - ebay item 180280140440 - Qty 17 - price £8.63 ea plus p&p. Not sure the photo looks right though.

One thing though, this leak appears to come in through the door part, not the frame... though whos to say its not running down from above.
