What I keep meaning to do is take a picture of where the damned thing lives on the 2.1 auto TD
with AC. No chisel, clouting or wrench will get near the damned thing and was the reason it went
to the nice man with the dodge (and special tool) to tackle it. I'm guessing the nearest home use
tool would be the grub screw from the side crown type off ebay but I don't like the idea of shearing
something and damaging something important residing nearby... sad.gif

Steve,

Not seen you on here much lately, and i see your 2.5 is going, after all the work you done on it too ohmy.gif.

Hi D.

Yeah I decided it was time to find something with A/C and leather seats again. At the time I was looking I could find a decent Exclusive 'saloon' so ended up with the C5. It was becoming increasingly hard to park the XM estate and even get it on and off the drive due to a rapid increase of selfish parking where I live. I may still go back to an XM at some stage. The seats are just so much more comfortable than any other car I've been in except perhaps a Peugeot 604. I've still got the pipe flaring tool and loads of pipe so it would be a waste not to use them.

Your's still looks good to me.

Steve.
