hi i got this xm cos i wanna put the engine turbo and loom in my 205 i got it from a lady that had from brand new its pretty much motable its got 72 k on the clock the interior is totally mint door cards as its a big car and the lady didnt seem to be the greatest driver all doors except passenger front are dented i got all windows all windows good tyres front bumper slight crack on one corner headlamps are clear no yellow dash tottally mint but there a slight leak on the hydrolic near the rad is why she sold it to me i live in west lond near a406 and a40 meet but as it on my drive i would like to sell the inside bare before i start on the out side once ready to start on the out side i will take alll bits of and store in the shed so any ppl intrested please let me know here or on my mobile 07841471241 my names joe thank u all fellow citroen lovers i will try get some pics up soon as not sure how to resize ect

Hi Joe.

I'll be totally honest with you and say I'm not a big fan of needlessly scrapped Xm's for
mi16'd Peugeots but that's a problem I have to get over and live with - it's not the first
time a big saloon has donated it's engine into another smaller car and no doubt it won't
be the last.

I will say however, that it's refreshing to see the remains offered here to those that will
benefit from the unneeded parts - rather than seeing the lot getting weighed in and wasted.

Just one thing; don't let others you recommend this conversion to scrap a Citroen Activa;
there can't be many left now and they'll be hounded to extinction like 16v Bx's have...

sorry to hear you feel like that i will only be taking in the bare shell i know they are rare thats why im selling the bits from its for me and other to get the best from it rather than just scrap im tryin to do a project from a car on a buget i want a turbo 205 with over 200bhp so it is getting put to good use hee hee well if anyone needs anything just ask im not looking millions but enuff to get my project on the go.

i put it down to karma lol it was fate i had to have a brill running engine and this cit is exzactly that its purrs sweet. it pulled and pulled on my way home far better than the mi16 405 i got my current engine from i got the pics on photo bucket now just unsure how to get them on here affraid they are not only elec on the front are sorry.

i was think try ebay but i thought an owner club would be better for everyone as im in my own owners clubs for my 205s so failing here the parts will soon be listed on ebay if no joy here

Can you check out the paint code off the car when you have a moment?
It's found in between the passenger headlight and the battery box, like so:



What state are the passenger doors in? What sort of money if they're the right colour?

i can see e t w its gray matalic the front door is good conition its the only door thats not dented the door card wont be with it do u want the windows and motor make me an offer! and how desprate u want it just wanted to get the interior out first

Shame about the rear door, that's the one I need most.

I'm in no urgent hurry to get hold of the door and it doesn't need to come with the glass or motor
in it but they'll likely be trashed trying to remove them - been here myself before.

Where are you based specifically?

london wembley not far from stadium well if u do deside to take them you can always take both and repair one if you dont have any for the car that is well make an offer.
