It brings me with great sadness at the moment....
Pink Floyd Fans, are I hope like me, in great shock of the news of Keyboard Player for the Floyd, Richard Wright, passed away Monday Sep 15th.. from a short battle with Cancer. His illness kept away from public, he just finished a Tour with Fellow Floyd Guitarist David Gilmour, and looked in top form in the "Remeber that Night" DVD performance. I like many have been very saddened by this, of course I didn't know him at a personal level, however, his last solo album, released in 1996 called Broken China rated very highly by me, and I also related very strongly with the album.. his music was fantastic, and also his contributions to Pink Floyds song were also top notch.. He was working on a New album, of which I beleve he was half way through.. I was, as Im sure many others of us, were looking forward to the album, to which we may never hear now.. A very sad time for me and many other Floyd fans... and a big shock too.. Goan over.. just thought Id share this with you.. of any other Floyd fans that own an XM. Yes, he will be sadly missed - a cracking keybooard player and a nice fella to boot. RIP Rick.
