Yes, I was impressed by the fuel consumption too..............

quote "she will get good MPGs - high 30's to mid 40's"

That's pretty good for a 3l petrol V6 unsure.gif

Like the 2.0 turbo exclusive on ebay last week.....that did 32 - 35mpg...... unsure.gif

Where and how do these people drive????????.........in their dreams? wacko.gif

Yep, more like 18-32 depending on traffic and driving style on a manual box, so auto in town probably at the low end mostly. I see he's overstated the engine power and top speed somewhat too. No mention of mileage, which would be one of the first things to be asking on an auto, along with gearbox oil changes.

Thought the PRV v6-12v manual was 170BHP and 135mph top, and the auto may well be a tad slower too, and no way 80+ in a second, the top marques qould be queuing at Pug-Cit's door to get hold of the technology laugh.gif

Looks nice enough though, esp if retro-fitted with a proper steering wheel & full leather.

regards
Dave

What does run flat suspenson actually mean! huh.gif I've got no idea and I have one! Something I've
not been told about... does it mean it will run with a flat tyre, or that with the height adjusted you're
able to drive with the car flat on the deck or rigid up on high (handy for flooded Summer UK travel!) blink.gif

The biggest laugh may be the reserve, especially with everything currently selling for about half or
even a third of the value compared to this time last year...

Mate may be very interested but not at a silly price.

You need the PRV 24 to get to 147 mph!

The 12v auto will manage about 120mph... from experiance.. (Yes the 12v is 170bhp.) Not sure were it is though with the auto box on the side..

Hi all

Don't you just love the "people watching" part of small car ads.

For instance how many of us are really going to believe much of the rest of what the seller tells us after he says that his V6 auto gets "high 30's to mid 40's". I mean he's obviously being "economical" with the truth.

Plus the bit I love. "I have never had her near top speed, which is about 145MPH. I assure you she will do all of that. Very useful vehicle for embarrassing hot hatches". Of course nobody really does those sort of top speeds in the UK - it's a license loser. So he tells us how considerate he's been by not getting to that top speed but contradicts himself in such a great way by telling us he's been burning off hot hatches! Giving the car complete beans to burn off hot hatches is probably worse than constant high speed running.

Great advert. Run a mile from this one.

Cheers

Tony
