The bonnet would look good on your V6 Auto. The ABS is Bendix. So at 99p it is a downright bargin.

Yeah I suspected it was Bendix due to the Reg being M, unfortunally shes too far away from me... actually, the whole rear would do for my V6!

Yes the bonnet and nose would look goos, maybee even the wings, but she does look too light compared to mine...

Isn't this one of those, don't bid unless you want a wheelnut listings that ebay is trying to stop?
I'd have the engine for 99p for one of my Activa's otherwise...

Strange advert......no reserve, is he really prepared to let a couple of hundred quids worth of scrap go for just 99p?

If it was closer to home and I had somewhere to keep it, I'd have it......even if it was just for parts.....it'll be a shame if it does go to the scrap man.

Scrappies only seem to pay traders for cars they have to collect. If it is immobile and the seller was going to get nothing for it I guess anything it sells for on ebay is a better bet.

Ebay Advert car is S2 and incorrect green.. andrews estate looks the identical!.

I suspect from those pics and being its the same age its the same colour as my V6...

Can you confirm colour code, if so bonnet, wings are of big interest..

Dammit, I checked the colour code but got sidetracked before I had a chance to make a note of it!
The bonnet and wings have been removed though to be totally honest, I'd forgotten to check another
green 2.0 that I plan to keep to remind myself whether it needs any front end panelwork or not!!

That said, I'm perfectly happy to part with the wings if they're genuinely spare!!
With my recent form with popped strut tops is it wise to sell any spare bonnets...

I can do a swap....

Ive got two other green bonnets, one on the car and another in store, Ive also got a gold one and the brown one recently removed....oh and a blue one too!

As you've got so many bonnets handy are you worried about strut top failure too!!?

I'll get back to you on the weekend once I've checked if I'm parting with something I actually
need; wouldn't be the first time!

I've amassed a fair quantity of bonnets but they're never in the colour I actually need; black
Xantia bonnet going spare anyone - I can swap you a red, white, blue, green or gold one!?
I'm sure there's a white Xantia s1 ex - taxi somewhere out there with a nice back bonnet they'd
want to swap!

This S1 Black Xantia (L reg) here may well be up for grabs soon, shes threatening to get a new car... (Yes it has the chevrons on the bonnet, but does that really matter for the correct colour? ) Ill keep you informed, did you not see the complete black P reg xantia for a couple of hundered I linked your wanted post to??

Its not the strut failure Im worried about, its having the car ALL the same colour with out laquer peeling off.

I suppose that's one advantage of having a green one, I've never seen one with lacquer failure, the red one is peeling like a sun tan addict but the black one is OK.

Ah, I think Citroen had sorted the paint problem by N reg... But most Ive seen on K, L and M reg have had laquer lift.

My K reg green car has been bad, I bought an L reg DERV in maroon, that had lifted, I also bought another L reg DERV, that had a replacment bonnet that been resprayed, as it was blue under neath..

I must say, my Black M reg Onyx is NOT liftng, nor is my H reg 24v...
