I think I have to shop for a strut top soon. The o/s one doesn't look to good. I'll try and get a piccie if the rain stops.
I see AEP do them for £194+vat!!! Anyone know any other suppliers? I remember seeing a post recently but can't find it now. -------------------- Dave.

you'll also need to check what strut is fitted to the car, as the only tops you are likely to find these days will be for the last revision strut only. So a new strut may also be needed, and I believe the gaiter is also different to the early strut, just to add insult to injury! At least the leak-back hose will be the same
So works out around £4-500 per side from Cit, from memory (that's strut, top and gaiter), was 18+months ago that I was asking, so be seated before making that call regards Dave -------------------- G-reg XM V6SEi saloon, light blue, RP4764

sorry, can't help for Portugal.
Jose is in Spain, he may be able to advise there, if he's on this forum, if not, try the XM-L group on yahoo. Worth joining it too in any case. If you contact Plieades here in the UK they may be able to supply refurb strut, maybe even with gaiter, and possibly source a top (new most likely) and ship on to you. regards Dave -------------------- G-reg XM V6SEi saloon, light blue, RP4764
