Citroenmad,

Are you useing firefox browser???

IF so Right click on the image and select save target as - name it something like XM.JPG, you MUST put the JPG on the end, then you can load it up, with firefox you need to save it to your computer to view it...

Id not thought of that, after saving the image it did show up fine.

Looks tidy too, and all for £250! Bargin, even with mudflaps too, rear looks like it could do with a polish, but tidy cool.gif

Hi Citoenmad

The plastic "chrome" strips can be recovered with a bit of care. Use a very wide bladed screwdriver or a 25mm wood chisel. Feed the chisel in at the bottom of the chrome strip and lever it gently outwards. Start at the centre of a straight piece of strip or just to one side of the bend in a corner strip. Then work along the length of the strip and it should unclip and pop out without breaking.

Regards

John

Thanks for the tip John, i was more concerned with getting them out without damaging the surounding trim, although your method would work best there too.

I used a smaller screwdriver then pulled the trim to avoid getting indents on the black trim from screwdrivers anf the likes.

Ive sealed the ends of my new front and rear trim pieces so hopefully that has slowed down the water getting into plastic chrome process again!
